I am a Holistic Healing and Somatic Trauma-Informed Practitioner helping individuals navigate life's challenges, heal from subconscious trauma programming, and achieve lasting well-being through emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual practices. With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, I merge various holistic modalities to create a personalized, transformative experience for each client. One of my biggest passions is guiding people on their own healing journey by implementing nutrition protocols and trauma-informed movement practices like yoga and walking.

In 2012 after having two children, my body was out of balance, and I found myself suffering from adrenal fatigue, overwhelming stress, and chronic yeast infections.  I dove deep into plant-based nutrition and herbalism and was able to heal my body through these modalities along with a spiritual and mental perspective. I became so intrigued that I pursued a certification in plant-based nutrition and juice fasting and started health coaching clients from a holistic and nutrition-based model.  I found that no matter how many times I would tell clients what to eat or how to heal their bodies through nutrition and movement, they seemed to have subconscious blocks that held them back from making lasting changes in their health and body.  We all have subconscious programming that runs our perspective on the world and ourselves.  When these programs are self-limiting beliefs that were created through childhood trauma and wounding, they play out in self-sabotage, disconnection from our needs and unhealthy relationship patterns.

In 2019 my world turned upside down when I divorced my husband, a relationship that I had been in for 17 years.  The dismantling of that identity and family unit was the most traumatic and painful thing I had been through up to that point in my life, but I knew my soul was asking me to go through that experience.  The transformation and healing that I found through the following 4 years led me to the profound healing practices I have cultivated for myself and know without a doubt that they can help others heal too.  I was able to work through heartbreak and emotional trauma and release unhealthy patterns in my thoughts and actions.  I developed a post-break-up protocol for transformation that up-leveled my internal landscape far beyond what I had hoped for. I also began to apply my practices to healing my back pain after a Crossfit injury and found it made a huge difference and I was able to get back to a regular yoga practice and bring my pain down from a level 10 to a 1.  I knew that there was an emotional component to my physical pain and by reprogramming my brain and healing my trauma, my body began to respond in a positive way.  Our mind, body and spirit are all connected and when one is out of balance, they can all be out of balance.  But the incredible thing is that we all have the power to heal ourselves.  What I discovered was that when we begin to heal and reprogram self-limiting beliefs, emotional triggers, and support our body with healthy inputs, we make lasting change and real transformation happens.

The transformational process I came through has allowed me to define my soul purpose and I am dedicated to helping others heal, transform, and elevate their lives past their trauma.  My mission is to guide others in their own healing journey and help them get aligned with their soul purpose and path, to create the beautiful life they are destined to live.  We are here in this life to learn and that happens by how we handle the difficult things in our lives and how we appreciate the wonderful things.  We can choose the path of healing at any time and that will help evolve our ever-rising soul.

I believe that our soul chooses what lessons it wants to learn in our life and sets the scene for the best way to do that by choosing our location, our parents and our physical body.  Then we come to this life and have free will and get to live out our lives, use our innate gifts and hopefully find our purpose and the most aligned path along the way.  But it can be difficult, life is challenging, accidents happen, we get off course sometimes, but we always have the opportunity to re-align and The Universe will continue to nudge us in the right direction through our intuition, people and experiences.  Our soul is always learning, always growing, and always evolving.  That is why I named my business Ever-Rising Soul because I want to always be working to be a better version of myself and fulfilling the path of growth my highest self is seeking and help others do the same.

My goal is to continue to service my clients through therapeutic programs, group classes and private sessions and one day open a healing retreat center in the mountains of Eastern Washington. I completed my RYS-200Hr Trauma-Informed Yoga Certification in December 2023 as well as a Certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. I am currently working on a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at WSU.
